Joakim, Congratulation for the new lens, based on MTF, I expect it will be a superb lens. Very nice samples. The first one at night really remind me some RX1 images I took at China in term of bokeh and rendering.
Haven't posted for a while due to very busy work schedule. I am surprised to see so less activity here in Alt forum for Z. Maybe people are happy with what they have

OK, one more bump. I was hoping once more users in this forum handled Z7/6, there will be more interesting discuss like alt forum use to be. Obviously, it does not work as expected
These are with VC15III and 24-70S. All handhold. I really like the color out of that morning. Z7 didn't fight with me during that short good lighting period.
I will select a few to print and make a Southwest book for my family.

Beautiful work as usual Michael. Don’t lose faith in the thread, Novoflex hasn’t even started shipping adapters yet. I am sure things will pick up here once more people have the camera and adapters.

Another wonderful set Michael. I'm assuming the 15 III is the VM version. I've been musing about adding it to the VM 21 Ultron, 28 & 35 Ultron LTM and 40 Nokton. I've spent some time with the 21 and 40 on the Z7 using a shimmed Kipon adapter and really like the results so far.

Don't worry Michael, there are more of us out here. My Novoflex Leica M adapter just arrived, it's much better than the Shoten. Just getting started testing a few lenses. Here's the Leica Summilux 75 and the Macro-Elmarit R 100/2.8 testing for color, bokeh, and sharpness...

Charles, Darrell and all people who comment and likes, thank you guys for all your kind comments and likes. I appreciate.
I have been really enjoying using Z7 no matter use it during travel, around family, or shooting bird with 300f4PF&1.4TC.(will share a few images later) The images have consistently excellent sharpness and color with good acurity that I don't see before from similar speced sensor. D850 can be as sharp with lens like OTUS and disciplined shooting but I don't get this kind of performance reliably during regular shooting. No kidding.
The more I use it, the more I feel review of its AF is very true. Maybe it is the F lens, but with 300PF&FTZ with or without TC, tracking a fly bird is almost impossible once the bird is start fill the frame. Long distance might workable. Z seems very easy to make wrong focus decision that lose the focus or simply lock to background and never look back. D850 seldom do that.
However, only after get Z7, I start shooting bird images. I still enjoy it the most for the bird image I am doing. Silent shutter and lots of patience If it lock the focus, the images will be sharp.

Thanks, I just got Kipon from Adorama. It has quite a bit better build quality than Shoten. I'd say it feel as good as Voigtlander or Novoflex I have.
The M lens is still pass infinity. I don't have time to shimm it or do any test but I am happy with the quality for both Z and M end, tight fit

Yes, Mine is VM version. For Z7, it is hard to not recommend its native lenses, so good.
For daily shooting, I love adapte M glass such as 50mm lux, 75mm lux or 90 APO alone with 35mmf1.7 VC. Corner is not an issue. I have a feeling, once native WA zoom hit the market, very few people will care adapting m glass on Z.

Congratulation on your new adapter. That two lenses will be very happy on Z7

A bit of documentation work with the Z7, partly an excuse to test some lenses, to see what works. In this case a Voigtländer VM 21mm f/1.8 Ultron, with CPL on a Kipon adapter with first pass shimming (I later added another shim to bring it closer to the generally accepted 27.8 or 27.95 registration).
It's called Roaring Brook. There were several one hundred to two hundred acre land grants laid out along a path that ran parallel to the brook circa 1717. A couple of them included prime sites for water powered mills, later built and operated into the mid 1800s. The grants went to members of several families who were either Colonial government officials or related to officials...

Processing my images today to contibute in here. Leica Summilux-R 80/1.4, Voigtländer Nokton II 35/1.2, Samyang 14/2.8 (and a few Nikkors, too...).
Then, my laptop just died. A memory error, as windows safe mode pretends - not fin8shing to start up again. Argh...
Will take a while to take out the HD, keep what is worth (work in progress), and get a new computer up running...

Amazing images y'all. I'm sure half of the credit goes to the camera while the other half goes to the photographer. I personally am also quite satisfied with the feel and image quality of the Z7. As compare to the Leica SL, I think the Z7 is so much better in terms of the feel of its grip and how it feels in your hand. It motivates me to take more pictures. So far, I have used the native 24-70 and the 35 both of which are pretty amazing. I am drooling at the images coming out of the 50 as well. I also am quite satisfied with the images that I am getting from the 80 Summilux R. I can't wait to get my M to Z adapter. Keep the images coming. Really enjoy seeing them all.
