Big bull moose photographed with Nikon D4 and 500PF. I have been putting this lens through the paces over the summer, photographing many species. I just returned from the field and now have wifi so I will begin sharing some images. I am very impressed with the performance of this lens.

I took this pic using the D500 + TC-17 II + 500PF

the distance to the eagle is around 300meters witch is around 1000feet for all you English folks.
you could barely see the bird without bino's

GGO at 1/80th sec handheld. Super impressed with the VR on this lens. I have gotten many sharp shots at 1/30 handheld, and a few at even slower shutter speeds. I have also been very impressed with the bokeh this lens produces, this image is a good example of that as well.
