Thanks for the good tips! I feel that the Z7 wouldn't be much lighter than the d7500 with the ftz adapter. But you are right, a full frame is much better for landscape and portraits. It's just more a matter of costs. Also, do you think I should get the 14-30mm or the bundle with the 24-70mm? I feel like the 24-70mm is more practical but having wide shots of Machu Picchu, Iguazu Falls, and some random penguin closeups sound really nice. I am torn between the two lenses. And I don't think my budget can stretch enough to cover both lenses since I am already also buying the 500pf.
Anyway, great shots! The owl one is definitely my fav!
Mine arrived today! Have not had a chance to take it on a proper outing yet, but some testing in the yard has me blown away at the autofocus speed compared to the 200-500. I knew it was going to be faster, but this is on par with my Canon 500/4 on the 5D IV. Just amazing. And it's so small! Going to Finland this weekend so will hopefully return with some actual shots to share.
edit: just looked at my test shots in Lightroom. It is SO DAMN SHARP!
