Hi guys! I had a GREAT time today! Thank you Grant, NAncy and Mark! I'm sorry no one else could make it. We should do it again very soon!
Here is my favorite so far. I'll try to post a few more later. http://traceylong.smugmug.com/photos/130284535-L.jpg
Actually, I'm going to wait (apparently in vain) to see if they intro a 1.6 crop 1 series before I make a move. When it is for sure not coming out I will make a choice between the MK III and another MKIIn. Don't really need any more megapixles and don't need the faster frame rate so if the prices on the current N drop I will probably add one of them to provide for a second body, especially for football.
I'm also curious about the new wireless transmitter. I'm really hoping they will knock the bottom out of the price of the old version so that I can afford one.
I'd hope to be able to pick up a mkIII in June/July. The additional Dynamic Range is a real selling point for me- if that proves out in some real world reviews, I'm there.
After reading thru the pdf info sheet, I see alot of small changes I'm looking forward to playing with.
I gotta learn how to tone down the flash a little Speaking of flash, Mark and NAncy were kind enough to get me a new softbox and a lot of other lighting goodies, so I'll probably be posting a lot of pics of my kids when I get it all figured out! Thanks, MArk and Nancy!
Like those Lady bug shots Tracey. I know I took a couple but haven't found them yet. I'm just now getting a chance to look at my images from the weekend. Here's a few but I will put more up later. Helping my son load a rental trck this weekend.
I'm still new to FM, and have been in ATL for a few years. Just stumbled across this thread. Went to Callaway last year and took the photo below. I'm going to try and follow this thread to see if there are any more outings coming up.
Anyway, I was just sitting here thinking about what a great time had that day and was hoping someone would suggest another outing! I can't wait to get together again!
Just wondering (a little late ) if anyone else was going to try and take any shots of the lunar elcipse this evening?
I was thinking of heading to Stone Mountain Park- but the Tram is shutdown until March 16th. I'm not sure that I'm in the mood to hike up to the top with two tripods and my long glass.
Anyone else have a suggest for a place to try a shot from:
I got a photoshop question. Figure I would see if someone here could help me. In photoshop what is the quick key to change the size of the brush. I know i can right click and get the sliding bar but there has to be a faster way to change the brush will editing.
