Showing us just how cold it was, as his breath fogs with each of his "chuffs", that could be heard all over the park:

Looking deceptively harmless, head-on-paw, in repose:

Greg, we are going to have to encourage other spouses to get involved. That way everyone else can feel the pressure as well. However, at least I only have one breathing down my neck. You, sir, are just about surrounded! (and before anyone gets any funny ideas, spouse and daughter you evil minded people...)

Cindy, great picture. Time to sign up so that we don't have the old middleman here. Nancy said she will have something by Thursday.

Are you sure you looked under the beanbag for my 500? I still can't seem to find it

It was great meeting all of you. Sorry I couldn't stay longer. I look forward to doing this again. These are some fantastic pictures.

PS. If anyone found an extra 500mm F/4 IS lens, send an email to [email protected].

Photographers are just like telemarketers...always when I'm eating. I'm starting to rethink this vegetarian thing.

and one from my other expensive hobby. This is me doing what I do best

and just so you know, I'm not the one pulling the winch cable. At this point I am still behind the wheel!

Still not sure how that one happened. I was just kind of creeping along and all of a sudden I was on my side. Glad I wasn't going fast because if I had been I would have kept rolling and it was a LONG ways down.

Ouch, That's gotta hurt. We need to do an outing of photos of you doing what you do best. That would be fun! (in my mind anyways)

Greg, I see why you were staying down at the Lions domain now. You captured him well in all poses.

Robin, that Panda really has some poses and expressions as well. Nice shots from you and Mark both.

Mark, hope you are okay. Looks like the drivers side rear wheel dropped in that crevice while the passenger side was up on the high point and just flipped you. Looks like you were having fun till the flip. Was this any kind of event or were you just out 4 WHEELIN?

Tracey, Wish you could have been with us on the Zoo trip.

Brian, We want to see that published shot.

Chinesetunna and SchnellerGT we would love to have you join in on an outing. Stay in touch.

Take care, Grant

Congratulations Brian, That's a great cover shot. It really gives a good indication of the destruction left by Katrina.

Let me know when or if you want a Feisol.

Happy Holidays.

Grant, that was a jeep trip in October of 04 with the jeep club I belong to. It was really kind of funny as the last 3 or 4 trips before that I managed to put it on it's side. This was a long, steep, but unchallenging climb near the end of the last day. I was the 3rd jeep up and everyone had been giving me a hard time about actually making it through a trip w/o tipping. The little ditch was just a bit deeper than I thought and I hit it at just the right angle. As with most of my tips it all happened in slooooow motion. So once again the only thing hurt was my pride. But at least it gave everyone something to laugh at...again...

sigh...

Brian, nice cover. We went to Hattiesburg about 10 days after the storm to help cut trees. One of my wifes fellow teachers had parents who lived there. They are involved with the Red Cross and gave us a list of people that needed help with tree removal. I took a few pics but nothing I got came even close to communicating the complete devastation. I've never seen anything like it and hope to never again.

It was very uplifting to see the very large volunteer presence that was in place when we got there.
