That sounds about right for B&H as they open at 9 am I believe they manually start moving product orders to the warehouse . On payment I think they do it automatically before hand automatically. You folks this all sounds very normal

Update: got a UPS number from Adorama in the middle of the night. Tracking number said item has not been delivered to UPS.
Then, I got an email from UPS saying item would be delivered today.
Then, I got another email from UPS saying it would not be delivered today and they would let me know when they have a new date. Item still not at sorting facility.
On my second bottle of Vodka. Still have the spare battery.

It took 6 hours to go 10 miles
Its 7:23 in the morning now it should be loaded on a truck and actually out for delivery. So thats another 6 hours from getting it at distribution and still not saying out for delivery. Seriously folks where --cked

I hate UPS. They’re always changing the timeline even after giving you a four hour window. So you blow off a half day work to sign for something that doesn’t show up during the stated time. Then they send an update. They’re terrible . . .

Has anyone heard of the 24-105 shipping. I was told by BH that my order was "backordered" and then in phone conversation that the lens shipment was delayed. Not sure if all lenses were delayed or just my order.

The 24-105 I pre-ordered from B&H was charged to my credit card this AM; it still shows "processing" for a status. This was the first time in quite a while I was happy to see a credit card charge. I placed the order early on the first pre-order day.

B&H told me in chat that they won't ship till 30th, which makes no sense to me. Since in that case those that buy from physical store get the camera one day sooner.
And to add to the anxiety, just got an email from B&H inviting me to the Sony A7R3 live stream on 30th.

Unfortunately, if it does not ship today, I will need to cancel, since no one will be available to sign for it.

Sony must have stipulated a rule to the dealers that the A7R III can only be shipped "on" the 30th. So, those who got next day air will get it December 1st. (Friday)

I think this part is the dealers Fred on shipping. Sonys appears in customer hands the 30th
Either that or they are all confused on what release date means.
