So let me clarify. The camera will ALWAYS pass the mark and go back to it.. For instance if I say set the lens to minimum focusing distance it'll go all the way to infinity (past my say 4m point of focus) and then all the way back towards minimum but will finally stop on my mark. Normal behaviour in low light? The A9 doesn't do this... EVER.
Tried with the following: 85GM (which isn't stopped down while focusing), 16-35GM, 55FE before giving up.
Low light AF with native glass is fine for me. Adapted glass via metabones, not so great.

Now B&H says they can't find my UPS shipment, so they're going to make a claim...and oh yea they're out of stock but they'll ship one at some point when they get more in stock. Never had something happen like this at B&H in years.
Just going to go find another one somewhere I guess. Waiting any longer on B&H at this point seems like a waste of time.

Is Greentoe a good solution? I have had good experiences with a few lenses but am nervous about such a large purchase. Usually have used B&H or Adorama. Seems a few have used them for A7RIII with about 10% savings as usual with them.
