I was photographing this rainbow from the ground with my camera gear but when I got back to the house, the rainbow was still going on. So I thought I should send up the drone. So glad I did.

Small High School graduation ceremony from May. Immediate family only were seated on the field. Graduates were separated in the stands. A decent sunset obliged. I convinced them to turn the lights on at the beginning which helped balance the sunset some. I launched; flew straight up; came down and landed from behind another building (still had LOS) in order to minimize the sound that could be heard from the stadium. This photo is now on their website homepage.

A few nights ago when I noticed the pink sky it occurred to me that I hadn't flown my Mavic for many, many months, so I thought it was a good a time as any for a quick flight and a few photos.
