I was hoping for fog this morning but it didn't materialize. I did manage to get this shot of the bridge and winding road leading you back to the twin peaks.

This is the now deserted fishing village of Houtouwan on Gouqi (Wolfberry) Island (actually it's just across the bridge on another island but it's usually referred to as being on Gouqi Dao) some way off the Shanghai coast (it's ca. a 9 hour journey to get here from the city centre). Famous for the way nature has reclaimed it. Even in October it looked amazingly overgrown but in Spring/Summer the ivy goes wild and wild flowers bloom everywhere.
Roughly 500 houses over three small valleys and we only found 2 still occupied by old folks not prepared to move on at their time of life. If you look carefully you can see all three valleys.

It's here... unpacked, charged and set up. Took the drone out for a quick up and down to make sure it worked. Only issue I found is that I could not update the drone FW using the Smart Controller. I was aware that might happen. I downloaded DJI 2 Assistant on to my computer and updated firmware that way. That worked fine. As to actual use... no problems, with only limited use. Bottom line... I like it.

5 shot pano of Keystone Mountain with the Mavic 2 Pro, stitched with PhotoStitcher App, edited in LR CC all from my iPad. I wish LR CC would incorporate pano stitching!
