The picture was taken very early in the morning with very little light while walking the dog in the forest.
Colors completely unedited, just slightly increased shadows, lens correction disabled. Skin tones actually look like they did when the photo was taken. In the case of the upper body portrait, you still have a beautiful bokeh and a lot of blurriness even at f5. So far, f2.8 has always been more than sufficient for the focal length. :-)
So far I am very satisfied with the Batis 135. Portraits are more fun for me than with an 85. Colors are very nice and the contrasts are very strong. I also really like the bokeh.
With the 135 I feel like I did with the Batis 40/f2 CF. I think "why didn't you buy it sooner"
