MikalWGrass - Sorry about that, I'm not trying to have the forum do "dirty work". We have a list of previous/current clients already, was just hoping some members here could help us get in touch with the right people at those companies. I've edited the post to only specify previous clients, let me know if this is not sufficient.

DL_IC - I didn't mean to sound so nasty in my earlier post, so apologies are in order. Please accept my apologies. Just so you know, I am all for people suing Gameface if they welch on their obligations, and I am all for people being held accountable, especially those who seem to be running from calls and emails.

You have not worked for GF, but most of us have and now we are not. I welcome the solicitation since I could use a little more work.
He is not "stealing" clients, he is just asking for leads. It is up to the promoter to decide if they want to go with another company or not. And as far as "leg work"; that is exactly what he is doing. He is looking everywhere for photographers and leads - even here.

I looked at the court judgment and it looks like GFM was a no-show which goes to show how little they care about taking care of their people and going 'dark' on people they owe money to. At best, it's evasive, at worst, it's a scam. At least have the decency to show up and respond to someone you owe $7k to!! Maybe a partial payment as a show of good faith!!?
Yes, that's $2M and a $1.5M house, respectively. What we have is a couple of rich guys using your hard-earned pay to finance their companies cash flow - and obviously not doing a very good job of it either. Just disgusting. I hope the karma gods pay them a visit.
p.23 #5 · Gameface media - heads up on getting paid
I think these guys were successful before they started Gameface Media, and maybe funded themselves a bit on the backs of the photographers they didn't pay, but I seriously doubt that they bought these homes on the $$ they saved by not paying the photographers. However, that doesn't give you the right to show their home addresses and photos of their homes, even if it was public knowledge. Next you'll be showing photos of their kids and the names of the schools they attend.
You weren't paid? Sue them in small claims court. Post disparaging but true information about them on this and other sites; dig to see if the company is a scam or a sham, and if you think it is, contact the state attorney; contact the financiers behind the company and let them know you haven't been paid and that the officers / public faces of the company lied to you, etc. But please don't post photos and addresses of their homes, even if it is public information. It just looks bad.

Their team continues to shrink.
Steve Kirkpatrick, formerly GFM's Vice-President of Sales is still shown on the "team" page, but
it is reported that he has taken a job with New Hampshire Motor Speedway as Director of Business Development.
If you exclude the two principals, and if it's true that their Directors of Photography are both on a leave of absence (unknown if this is actually true), then it would seem like there are only a few people actually working there any more. Maybe four people left?
I'm pretty sure Marty is. If you count both of the photography directors, Kirkpatrick's departure leaves at most seven employees left.

This... totally this. It also reeks of class envy.

Lions, I will presume that it doesn't reek of class envy. I think it reeks of extreme hurt feelings. For all we know, the previous poster could live in a $2,000,000.00 but be peeved that he hasn't been paid. Lots of scenarios, all of them could be correct, or incorrect.

No matter how you look at this it still stinks that a company can screw over so many struggling families and photographers. This is not class envy this is a complete lack of class on the part of the management of a company that many came to trust and even enjoyed working for. Many long days have gone into helping GF and all they have for us is a GIANT FU! If they go away and the investors loss money it still won't make up for the lack of trust that this event has created in some very talented and creative people.
p.23 #15 · Gameface media - heads up on getting paid
I commented on this several month ago. All states have strict laws that protect employees, but if you are a independent contractor, like us, it is up to you to collect what is owed to you. If you could make a case that you were actually an employee, then you might have a leg to stand on.
p.23 #17 · Gameface media - heads up on getting paid
Not class envy at all but I could see how my comment might be interpreted as such. I definitely have the taste of sour grapes in my mouth having been burned in the past.
I wanted to draw attention to the fact that hard working, talented people were being taken advantage of by a company that has some serious resources behind it. If GFM wanted to pay their photographers tomorrow it could be as easy as writing a personal check(or loan to the business to cover it) and none of us would ever need to wait or comment on a website and there would be no story. If the business was a startup with a couple of college kids living in an apartment it might make it more understandable/palatable to wait to get paid. After doing a little homework and learning more about the management, I thought it was relevant and provided some (less understandable)context.
I have been to small claims court against others (and won). It's ugly even when you win. No one wants to beg for their paycheck - especially when you've done great work(I've seen the other GFM shooters work and it's really fantastic) that people enjoy and appreciate.
I for one hope the ship gets righted once again. I had several invitations to shoot some Continental Basketball Association games and apparently the slots filled quickly.

Wow that story wasn't biased at all😂
Not to mention (literally) money spent on projects that drained the coffers. Good luck with getting "some" of the money. The continued we will pay them line!!!!
