UK shooter here.
I was paid today. Agreed to pay 80% of my debt now rather than 25% over the next 4 months.
Oldest debt was September 2016. Newest was September 2017. 4 days in total. Thanks to partial payments extracted during the course of the year my actual outgoings were already covered.
I would consider shooting for them in future, but only on a prepayment basis.
I hope everyone else who is owed money gets what they are owed, or what they are happy with.

I seriously wonder if any of the prepay offers were ever paid. And the offers included pay for travel. For example I had a 3.5hr drive each way and was offered $300 to shoot 5 hours and $300 for travel including a motel room and food. The sad thing is they must have plenty of clients and if they would have done the prepay + travel thing we'd all be shooting for them, instead they have pissed us all off and have become toxic in the sports photographer community.
I made $$$ in 2017 shooting with GFM - all on prepaid basis. Travel pay varied from contract to contract and by job position, but I can honestly state GFM lived up to 100% of all its prepayment commitments to me. I am definitely shooting with them again this year. I'm not "pissed" nor am I a part of the toxicity. However, I understand folks' frustration and I do hope all that are owed are made whole.

It's kind of old news but that's okay. As far as how much they still owe people, who knows? I do know they announced that they would catch up money owed to photographers with monthly payments in 25% increments starting around the first of this year. I got all of mine.

Glad at least some are getting paid. I got the first two payments of 25% each, both in the months AFTER they were promised and after I bugged them about it. But I've received nothing since, including no answers to emails.

I have never commented on this issue until now. I did one job for GFM a couple of years ago. They paid fine. Then last June I had a moment of weakness and responded to their continuous emails. I figured since they appeared to be catching other's payments up I would take a chance and do another job for them. Because of the distance to the job site they offered mileage. Ok I did the job and they didn't pay. Finally after many emails they finally paid me a couple hundred dollars but still have not paid the mileage they owe me. What really makes me sad about this is all the people they owe large money to who rely on these jobs to feed their families. I am not a legal person, but at some point their actions have to be considered criminal! They are knowingly contracting people to do work for them that have demonstrated they have no ability or intention of paying, and they are doing so across the country. There must be some kind of a federal law violation in there somewhere?

Got two emails this week offering me a contract to shoot a half marathon in southern Utah. 5 hours minimum. I was nice and wrote back that it was not worth it to me to drive 2 hours from my home in Las Vegas to their event and two hours back and only get paid for 5 hours. I did this same event a few years ago when they were paying promptly and they included mileage and a hotel room. The only response I got was an automated reply from scheduling reminding me that if I did not accept the contract within 5 days of the original offer the offer would expire....I guess it expired, I guess little has changed since all of this started.
