The Color Run had been bouncing from GameFace to Flo-Photo. I know GameFace is still shooting Warrior Run because I just shot a big one for it in central Florida on Saturday. GF also shoots Rugged Maniac.

From tough mudder website,
Participant Photos
Our photographers will be out there on the course taking action shots of you and your teammates. In the week after the event, stay tuned for an email with your photos and go to our Facebook page to view the event photo album. In the meantime, go check out our galleries on Mudder Nation.

I wonder whether ToughMudder is taking photography in house the way ChronoTrack (marathons and major running and triathlon races) and Disney (shoot for $10 an hour!) did. ChronoTrack is a good company to shoot for, pays well and quickly.

For those interested...the case was heard in Boston municipal court. The case number is 1601SC002725. You can find records online pretty easily.
Oddly, I can't seem to locate those court records. Have you the name of the plaintiff? Is that the correct case number? Thanks.

I'm fairly certain GFM quite talking to me since my article on PetaPixel and honestly, at this point, it's expected. The company messed up and no matter what they say, it really comes down to their actions.
Not only does it take us pestering them to get some generic answer, a majority of us have yet to be paid. On top of that, the email didn't go out to everyone owed and it's obvious they are still trying to get new races to continue their same ole BS type of operation.
I have zero sympathy for GFM at this point.
On a side note: If there is anyone who hasn't been paid and has any interest in talking with the Boston Globe, they reached out to me looking for more people to help them with their news article. Just PM me your information and I'll pass it along to the reporter.

I'm curious how they are going to get enough photographers for their biggest client, BolderBoulder in May. They had 50+ photographers last May, I wonder if they are going to scrape up that many this year after ripping off so many last year. It's their biggest client, so I'm sure they are going to do everything not to lose them.

You wonder why the are behind on paying people, 50+ covering the BB is well over 20K. They have no control on what the spend on. I bet they had folks from Boston at the event that needed airfare, rental car, Hotel, meals and the famous lead meeting with an open bar tab. And all that when they were in the middle of a budget crisis. They lack any logic and concept of logistics. If you can't pay the last fifty people why not hire fifty more.?

Sadly I'm still part of the 77%.

Reality Check: GFM pledged on Feb 6 to get everyone paid before April. That gave them 53 days. It's been 12 days now, so one might expect 23% of photographers would be paid by now.
Aside from the guy who sued them and won, has anyone been paid? Please post whether you have or have not been paid.

Hey Guys! My name is Daniel, and I used to work for Gameface a few years ago, quit when they started treating me with utter disrespect. I currently work with a company that does the photography for Spartan Races Canada, and am trying to pitch to GameFace's previous clients.
As soon as we lock down events 100% we've been discussing with (such as Bolder Boulder & TM), we'll need to recruit photographers. We are also looking for help on picking up events that Gameface used to do. Our business model is simple, we include live streaming, photography, videography, social media marketing for approx. $1/participant.
It'd be awesome if some of you could help us help you get back into shooting and most importantly, getting paid for it! I've attached a form below if you'd like to sign up for our team for this upcoming summer, as well as an anonymous tip form for if you have any leads on Gameface's previous clients!

DL_IC - it doesn't matter what your business or working relationship is or was with Gameface, this is NOT the forum to use to try to steal Gameface's current clients. Old clients are pretty much fair game, but current clients are not. If you want to know who the clients are, do some leg work and find out on your own, instead of using this site to do your dirty work. This is not the place for this kind of activity.
I have never worked for Gameface Media, they do not owe me money, I am not an investor in their company, and I never plan on shooting for them - even if they would hire me. I am just a lurker and occasional poster here on this forum, pretty much a nobody whose photos aren't necessarily all that good. Regardless, it would be awesome if you were to edit out the last line of your post and omit any requests for leads Gameface's clients.
