OK, my L21 finally came in, so I thought I'd post a quick pic from my first outing...just a handheld quickie since the sun was dropping like a rock...no time to scout.
Anyway...this lens is super sharp and contrasty. Interestingly, it seems to play much, much nicer with my normally heavily green cast, 10 stop ND filter than my nikkor 28 2.8 does, auto WB on both. Maybe I'm missing something there.

Even if this lens came in a by-wire AF version, I'd still opt for the buttery manual focus for landscape purposes. The RIII EVF at 12x makes it very natural, almost like cheating.
I realy enjoy looking at your wonderful pictures Ronny... Beautiful. For some reason your photo's realy stand out and attract me a lot. Thank you very very much for sharing your work here on the forum.
You realy are a great inspiration for amatures like myself who just love landscape photography and shoot as a hobby.
A lot of the roads and trails were closed due to the government shutdown so I decided to wander up the newly renovated Rainbow Falls trail in the Great Smoky Mountains on MLK Day. I really wasn't expecting to see any snow but as I made my way up the mountain I ran into a few inches and decided to keep going to the falls. It was well worth the climb and 15 degree temps. All shot with the 21.
Another one for my Loxia and California Coastal collection. Happier about the aperture this time. Maybe could've focus stacked the foreground with background, but I'm always so rushed with sunrise shots. Gotta wake up earlier I guess. Ended up at a beach further from the bridge than expected, so I actually like the composition from the CZ 35-70 better, but this is the one with the best light.
