Ronny, many beautiful shots on this thread, but that's a real standout.
Every person on this thread owes me a HUGE apology.
For the past two years I've been in the market for a landscape lens for my a7 bodies, so I can finally dump my old adapted nikkor glass that has been 'playing the role' thus far.
I've searched...and searched...looking at the cheaper alternatives(Sigma's ART, Tokina's FiRin...even the 16-35 Zny)...but just couldn't find myself willing to compromise with the minor 'faults' of these other fine lenses.
Then...then....I found THIS thread...and by the time I got to page ten or so, I had a tab opened to BnH and had the lox 21 in my cart and ordered before my head caught up with my hands... - ...and, consequently, will be relegated to consuming Ramen noodles and shoe leather for the next several decades.
Thank you ALL, very MUCH!

he he...All kidding aside(mostly)...this thread really DID shove me right over the edge to get the L21. It's back ordered, so just happily waiting on Christmas day.
If there ever was any doubt about what 'micro-contrast' really is...these photos should cure it.
I just wish I would've kept tabs on where all the tidbits are on how to shoot the 21 for maximum effect. I seem to recall mid-field at infinity...or center and edge for stacks, but I digress.
GreAT shots ALL...and remember...the next time your walking down the street and see the unkempt, and somewhat oderiferous guy with a tin cup in his left hand...and a loxia 21 slapped on an a7 in the right...consider dropping in a dime...that I might add a carrot or two to my noodles.

Thank you, Jim, Ronny. No I didn't get the $870 deal for my Loxia 21. I bought mine used for $1000 some months ago. I was replying to the poster Pizzada who said he just ordered one from B&H. B&H was recently selling the the Loxia 21 for $870 to a selected group of people, crazy deal.
