Since you asked
I looked long and hard at both options before purchasing the Sigma S 3 years ago. my conclusion:
150mm vs 200mm
600mm vs 500mm
better build quality-my stuff can get knocked around
quicker to focus (per reports) I've never used the 200-500. I'm happy with Sigma speed

I wish it was 5.6 instead of 6.3
From reports I assume 200-500 has better VR. I rarely use the OS. primarily tripod shooter
For the rare times It's not on a tripod I'd prefer less weight, of course
The only lens right now I could see replacing my Sigma would be the Sony 200-600 and that would be solely based on the internal zoom. I hate the extended zoom of the Nikon and the Sigma. But I've never used a Sony body and although I've considered it not sure I want to switch systems.

I love the 200-500, it is super sharp wide open, one of Nikon's best ever bargain lenses. Here is a picture of not a bird if you can believe it is even possible:
