Guys, i have a question
I have a D750
I need extra reach, i'd like to buy D500 but it's expensive for my budget, so if i buy a D7200 used, will it go well with my 200-500 or another option, maybe i should buy a 1.4x teleconverter?

The 200-500 plays quite well with the D7200, I'd pass on using a TC.

great shots, by the looks of these testing is a success
Thanks. Mostly a success, but still adapting to the different focus modes and which to use for different scenarios. I didn't nail focus with some admittedly distant kites, but I think I should have used group rather than dynamic for this case. More thorough testing this week should get me a better feel for what's best.

Yes, the D7200 works great with the 200-500, and you still have the crop factor.
I also would advise against relying on any teleconverter to give you that length you want. Ok to use it now and then. But to keep it attached to any non-crop-factor body, most of the time, because you need more reach most of the time....is a move you will not be happy with.
Yes, my TC14 rarely does get to go between my D500 and 200-500....but it comes right off after I get that added reach I needed in a quick pinch.
Yes, you will be very happy with a nice used D7200. I had one and really liked it until the D500 came out.
