Very nicely captured and well processed but it does seem to have a slight blue cast to it particularly in the areas with the most snow, which of course can be easily corrected.
Winter light is always cooler in temperature due to the Sun being much lower in the sky, much the same as a dawn light is cooler in color temperature compared to the evening sun which is warm in tones.
I'd just pull down both the blue and Cyan just a tad to bring the snow back to a more natural white tone without loosing the cold winter effect if I were you Craig.
This is definitely a beauty and should be printed biggggg.
Although I can see, through your photograph, what you saw that day, I still wonder what it must have been like to witness nature this magnificent in person.
This is really a great shot Craig. Probably one of my favorites from you. The dark clouds seem to be right up against the back of the rocks, the low sun, lighting up the snow, and the rock faces.
You were in a good spot at the right time, and captured it well. Thanks for sharing this one. Add my vote as well for featured thread.
Craig, this is a good picture. There is only one step, however, that separates it from being truly great, and this step is in PP. The contrast and saturation of the lighted clouds is not expressed strong enough. I dare to suggest to increase saturation and contrast for highlights only, and to slightly reduce gamma for the entire picture. Try it - it takes less than a minute - and see it truly light up.
