Thanks also to so many of the photographers here who have inspired me over the years and helped me improve my skills. Some still here, some have moved on... I'd name names, but then I'd forget someone, and... well, that doesn't work well!
If I were to give a bit of advice to everyone (myself included, as I kick myself constantly, since I can't follow my own advice), it would be to always have your gear ready and with you. Opportunities like this are often very fleeting, and you never know when such a magical moment will occur, but you'll know it when you see it. And as landscape photographers, we need to be ready.
