I'm looking forward to the flood of cheap, barely used D750s about to hit the market.

Let's see how long Nikon can keep its silence in absence of class action lawsuit.

Heiko, you wrote you've contacted Nikon Germany. Did you get any answer by now?

Hello,

may be this is what is happening with the D750:

Reflection

I see this picture in:

No, it's not. It's just user error in the absence of any official acknowledgement from Nikon worldwide headquarters. I can assure you the Refurb price will be around $1500 by April.

I've been trying for days what others have done, but I can't replicate the problem. My serial number is 30076XX.

Just asking, have you tried with 50 1.8?

I tried it with Nikon 50 1.8D, Nikon 85 1.8D, and Sigma 24-70 2.8.

I've a 28 & 50 1.8g. Can see it on 50 but not on 28. if I had more lenses to check I would have.

I should be receiving the 85mm 1.8G tomorrow. I'll test again when I get it.

Ok, hope it doesn't show up. It's more obvious in LV. Just fyi.

Are you going to send the camera for exchange?

Do you think we need to reach out to the Canon forum and see if we can get someone with a 5km3 to try it? I don't care if the 610 or 810 does it as well...if the 5dm3 or 6d doesn't then THATS what makes it undeniable....and not a byproduct of current design limitations and unacceptable....

Totally! If you want a D750 but can easily wait a few months, wait, you'll get a like new refurb for ~$500 less. Still, no regrets about getting mine at full retail price, it's a fantastic camera.

It's all still speculation, but I think this is the answer. The flare is reflection off the AF module, and the border around the sensor is a little too close, blocking the flare with a sharp edge.

Why does it show up when certain lenses are attached?
