Nikon is a small companyin both Japanese and US standards. In fact it's a small part of a big wheel.
I disagree with you that a Global company like Nikon with their hands in various industries (Cameras, lenses/optics, eye-wear, medical, scanners, telescopes, etc.) is small. Obviously, there are companies much larger than Nikon, but it is still more than large enough to have the usual administrative and managerial processes/delays when dealing with a potential issue, which was my only point. Their response time on this matter was impressive all things considered.

You can disagree with every opinion but fact. Go look it up which company owns Nikon.
I don't think you understand what I was saying so we'll leave it at that and agree to disagree . The size of Nikon relative to other companies has nothing to do with my initial point.

It's still too early to tell. We don't know whether or not AF accuracy with any lens will be 100% unaffected after the surgery given the warranty service workload that is already at service centers is nothing but horrendous at the moment.
What?!?! You don't think they are testing it before they ship it out? talk about paranoia.
