Canon 100 mm f/2.8 macro. The lens resolves so well that in a 13 x 19" print, one can see not only the dark vertical shape of the tree trunk in a raindrop in the upper center, but my reflection to its right as well! Tripod, mirror lockup, remote release, camera RAW.

Wondered when someone was going to post a shot from this monster (the lens, not the dog )

Photodo.com aid it measured the "highest MTF in our tests (so far)". And yes, of course I know that doesn't tell 'the whole tale'.

Interestingly, it rates higher than the 85mm f/1.2 'L' and (sorry!) 135mm f/2.0 'L'.

I just cannot resist to participate after viewing so many wonderful images. My current favorite lens is the 300f4L IS which is amazingly light, sharp and contrast. The IS works magic too in a lot of situations. Here is one of my favorite shots with this lens (1/250s f/7.1 at 300.0mm iso200 ):

The Zeiss-Jena Flektogon 35/2.4 has become one of my treasured lenses on my 10D. Here's a shot from last weekend at an Arizona mountain lake:

Here's my favorite all time shot. I captured this during an awesome night in Dallas, TX. This was shot with my 10D and my Canon EF 20mm USM prime:

Do you live in New Orleans, Abel? I do, and I love our zoo. I only wish I could get out there more. And having no long glass doesnt help either.

Wow! So many beautiful pictures! Thank you all so much for sharing

I couldn't deside wether the EF 17-40 mm f/4 L USM or the EF 100 mm macro f/2.8 USM is my favorite, so I'll post one pic from each...

The 17-40 mm:

The 100 mm macro:
