What is it, four inches between his eyes? Very nice shot.
Our biggest dog in Knoxville for several years was Mack, an English Mastiff who went 245-255 with no fat. Our running joke was that the biggest threat from Mack was if you scratched his back too long. A real possibility he could fall asleep and roll over on you.... Like most of the giants, he was a leaner.
Chance is an Aussie through and through. He has a very long and lean body for an Aussie and is very fast.

MichGoBlue,
What mix do you consider your dog Chance to be? My Nellie is essentially the same mix or look, and I've always defaulted to her being part Australian Shepherd, part Border Collie. One of the very few non racing breed dogs I ever considered to be as fast as Nellie was one I thought was the same mix, who looked very much like your Chance. Nellie is faster than pure Aussies or pure Border Collies, but that dog that looked like Chance could smoke the dog park grass....
It's funny you should say that, my first thought was a Weimaraner/Mastiff cross...... Been doing some reading - seems like the ideal 'big' dog Rags Hef wrote:
It's a Cane Corso (Italian Mastiff)
I'm thinking a Weimaraner bitch got caught in an Italian barn by a Mastiff. He's now about 135 lb.
He's a good guy; raised with two boys - same age (6) - and do they treat him roughly...
The first was with D3 and 400/2.8 AF-s II @ f/4, the Maltese was chasing her Tennis ball
The Yorkie was with D3 and 400/2.8 VR with 1.7 x @ f/5.6
I wanted to see how well the 400 tracked with the TC 1.7, the Yorkie was at full speed after fetching the pine cone.
