That Archie doesn't leave much to guess about his moods. Never forget that beach shot where he is somewhere beyond delirious with happy.
I have lived on acreage for many years and I have had mainly German Shepherds, Border Collies. With Groodles a cross between Standard Poodle and Golden Retriever they have the most beautiful temperaments "Life is wonderful and I love everyone around me" and very affectionate. Groodles have wool rather than fur so there is no fur shedding or odour and easy to allow them indoors. Whereas my German Shepherds it was very difficult to allow them inside in our hot, humid climate as they had unbearable strong odour and a lot of fur shedding in spite of regular washes.
If you search on FB there are Groodle sites and everyone has the same experiences. Even now a few vet friends now have Groodles. With small children the Groodles are wonderful as they are very quite and mindful of kids.
Ava was the 1st dog Bruce played with at our home (when he still didn't have all the shots to go meet unknown dogs). She still treats him like it's her puppy.
