The snow is here in Iceland.

Here's Ronja and Skuggi (eng: Shadow) at the peak of their love dance in the snow.

Ronja is pure Husky but Skuggi is mix of Labrador/Malamute/Husky.

This is Kr�a (the icelandic name of Arctic tern) which is good friend of my dog and we walk together every week.

The sun doesn't get far up and there's only 3 hours between sunrise and sunset now.

Ps. using Sigma 150mm macro lens because my Nikon 80-200 is dead.

However, it is fine for portrait shoots like this. Not very good lens for speedy action.

However, I just moved back to Nikon and since I haven't had time to shoot my dog much, this is technically my 'best' doggy shot

My favorite are the ones of whole dog in the frame. Head shots look strange to me.

I agree - but since we were sitting in my wife's van (and my dog was on her lap), it would have made for a strang(er) photo
