Some great shots. Many thanks to those of you who rescued a dog. You probably saved a life and the dog will love you for it. I have rescued 2 dogs so far and it does your heart good to know they have a better home. Will have to get some pics up here.
I just posted these on the "old school DX thread" but I somehow missed this thread before. Anyhow, here are two dogs that I met the other day, Sun and Moon. Taken with the D2Xs and 70-200VR1.

Thanks. While I wouldn't call Mishka's eye typical, they represent as close to the breed standard as I've seen. The breeder, in his case, has bred to get that particular eye appearance.

Ironically, Mishka is our only non-rescue. We've rescued 5 others to date. Currently, we have 3 rescues, I should get some pics of them as well.
