My two dogs. Wilo came with me from Zambia after my Peace Corps Service, and Ndege (now much bigger) was rescued from an excessively abusive situation in Malawi where he was thrown into the air to drop on his spine while the young boys laughed as he whined and screamed in pain. My wife and I immediately offered to purchase the puppy and named him "Ndege" which is ChiChewa for airplane in honor of his "flight" to end up in our care.
Bless you for rescuing these two - they're truly a couple of lucky dogs!

Lexie's brain says "go" but unfortunately her leg's say "no" - thus the wagon. Lexie will be 16 years young in January, and we are blessed to have her each and every day.

You touched my heart with your picture. it’s good to know that some people can take care of their animals so well.
We currently have a Belgium Shepherd ( Groenendael) . He’s 14 years “young” and we’re all trying to make his old days the best as possible.
We often laugh at him saying he’s retired!
