LoL. You're too generous with your labels..but yeah, I do like me some music. However, bit of a sore point of late after I discovered this boy poked the speakers earlier this year.

Photos from the International Kite Festival yesterday. Either shot with the 28-105 AF-D, a 24mm f2.8 AI-S or the 70-300 AF-S VR. All photos taken with my D700 with 75k actuations and still going strong.

Labor day has come and gone. The tourist hordes have left the area and the Eagles are coming back. We have somewhere between 50 and 100 Eagles on the peninsula. Unfortunately I only had my 70-300 VR this morning so these are cropped. Tomorrow I will take my 200-500 VR

Any AF setting tips for the d3s (isn't it pretty much the same as a d3?) for BIF? I use a 200-500.

Especially for Reagan

The Rod Run to the End of the World was last weekend. 2500 or so rods and muscle cars on the Long Beach peninsula for three days. Found this one which should wax nostalgic for Reagan.
