some of the work I do is somewhat on the fly technically challenging.
you need to go to events like this to challenge your ability plus there just damned fun
the guy with the beard is the creator of the walking dead. real nice guy.
The LCD display is different compared to the D4. I think I need to dial it down slightly (talking brightness, not color).
Also, with flash at medium ISO in low light (tuxedos at a night reception, 800-2000), anyone noticing a difference in exposure…like 1/3 of a stop or so hot? Exposure was consistent and often perfect…just sometimes erred on the hot side compared to what I'm used to. I'm shooting SB-800s (have eight and blow them up regularly, plan on testing further tomorrow to eliminate a flash issue).
Seeing this with all three bodies. Not exactly a problem…just different. I think the LCD needs to be dialed in. I think body exposure is perfect but maybe TTL flash is…different.
Shot multiple jobs this week but tonight was an awards dinner (low light and dark clothing). AF and high ISO (16,000!) were stellar. Just experiencing something different and unexpected with the LCD and TTL flash.
4MPX, you are lucky. No shops in my area have the D4s available. But wait, there has been an emergency announcement form Nikon -RECALL! Send your camera to me and I will take care of the upgrade. It should only take about 4 months and about 10,000 shots to verify the recall procedure. PS This is not an early April Fool's gag.
