A couple more with this combo. A7rM Leica Elmarit-R 2,8/90 I know in my head that the new Zeiss lenses are technically better and the bokeh is smoother than this old Leica-R but there is really a unique and to me, beautiful image that comes from this lens.
Ah! I see we have clues about Ronny's technique in this shot. We can see your reflection in the frog's eye Ronny (but you knew that didn't you). It looks like it might be a case of lying down in the long grass and rushes and keeping very still. Obvious really I suppose, just rather difficult.
Here is an image from my recent trip to Shenandoah National Park, Virginia taken with my tripod mounted Leica R 280mm f4 Apo Telyt lens and my Leica R 1.4X Apo Extender with my Sony A7r camera, ISO 400, effective aperture f8 for 1/500 second and processed in LR6. These are 2 women out taking photos of the deer in Big Meadows about 70 minutes before sunset.
