Ronny has inspired me to have another attempt at trying some insect macros. Getting slightly better at not making them fly away immediately, but why do they keep turning their backs to me? I shall keep trying but in the meantime here are a couple of shots of Barrington Court in Somerset.
Inspired by Dale's Super-Takumar images I searched and found my Super-Takumar. There seems to be 2-3mm play in front lens group, and gigantic scratch on rear element - so I decided to take some other Pentax with me and ended up picking my father's Asahi SMC Pentax-M 1:1.7 50mm with me to forest. I had good memories of it, as I had shoot with this lens as teenager and as far I remember it was great.
After golden memories vanished, it seems it's not very good. Weird colors, even I took WB from gray card shots and quality not so great f/1.7, but f/2.8 is quite OK, thou boke could be smoother. All f/2.8, except #6 f/4.
