First of all, thanks for the likes on my recent photos. They're very much appreciated!
Secondly, great shots, Charles and Helena on this page!
Some more from the trip. This time, Margeroy island and some from the Lofoten (no, not even close to previous shots from these beautiful islands, but hey, they're mine ). At least we had a little sun!

Jon, I used to own an A7r and did purchase the FotoDiox tough E-mount. Very easy to replace and very effective. I was glad I had done it. I now own the A7II which does not have the issue.

Hi Marc...thanks very much for the follow up on my post. I placed my order yesterday and should see the Tough E-mount LT (Light Tight) today. The reviews I read were mostly very positive and I'm glad to hear that your experience confirms this. It also appears that Sony all but admits the problem existed in the original A7 series (maybe not the "s"?) by announcing a more robust lens mount with the mkII cameras.
First shot - A7rM and Asahi Super Takumar 50mm 1.4, Minimum focus distance, wide open at 1.4
Second shot - A7rM and Sony FE 24-240mm @240mm, Minimum focus distance, wide open at 6.3
The FE 24-240mm can't match the prime lens for sharpness or shallow depth of field but it is amazingly
versatile.
So many amazing shots in this thread. Here is one from this weekend, I was doing some landscaping on my front yard and this guy landed on my step and stayed for a few minutes. Ran inside and grabbed my camera figured it would be gone but to my surprise it was still there.
Ronny, please stop showing pics of bugs that remind me too much of my ex-wife.
René, love your creative hshot in B&W
Philip, even by your elevated standards, a remarkable set!

A7 II with FE 90 Macro and Canon FD 20/2.8 (Should be pretty easy to tell which is which). The shot of the sun was taken out my windshield on the highway (don't worry...no one anywhere close to me on the road).
