Great photo of the church, Peter - but the shutter must have sounded like a canon going off in such a quiet space - or did you muffle it in some way - John

I have never been particularly concerned about the 7R shutter noise and, to be honest, I am not really aware of it anymore. My default drive mode however is "self-timer" 2 seconds ........beep beep beep. Now that does sometimes seem quite loud!
I switched to single shot after the first exposure!
Not sure which section this would go in, so I'll put it here. A panorama with the 16-35 of my brother climbing a stunning route called New Paths here in Queensland, Australia.

This is my first post in this thread having purchased a used A7r, 16-35 f/4, and 55 f/1.8 from other FM members recently in the Buy & Sell forum. I am still getting used to this camera and interface, but I had a chance to take some shots while on a vacation trip to Cape Breton last week and posted them below. The files are certainly robust and allow for quite a bit of "extraction" of information when the need arises!
One thing I have noticed is a little flex in the lens mount. After more research I see that this problem is known and wondered if anyone here has experience with this issue and if you do, how did you solve it? I see that there are replacement "tough e-mounts"...do these work?
Thanks for your input and c&c is welcomed on my images.
Jon, I used to own an A7r and did purchase the FotoDiox tough E-mount. Very easy to replace and very effective. I was glad I had done it. I now own the A7II which does not have the issue.
