So many great shots everyone!!!

Edward, really nice street shots!

Michiel, the second shot p95 with the Leica 135 Elmarit has caught the magic of the lighting in the forest! Just love this shot
Phil, great set again!
Bob, great series from the Netherlands!
Carsten, beautiful classic composition! The 50 Nocti f/1.0 is a magic lens, and I really like the range between f/1.8 and f/4.0 even though there is a inherent back focus in the lens design in this range.

Yes, backfocus and curvature of field make it tricky, almost impossible to get the Focus right with a Leica Body. I stopped down to f:5.6 and focused selectively on the (magnified) tree.
I find detail and sharpness equal to the Apo50 on the A7R, performance on M9/ MM is another Story.

Why is the upper left corner of the first picture look a little bit fuzzy to my eyes?

Another try tonight of a skyline shot. This time, it is more downtown in Atlanta, FE 55 on A7r, F5.6 with polarizer, 30 second exposure (not much traffic on a Sunday night....). Image is slightly cropped.

Charles, I will PM you about process later. Nothing fancy: curve, contrast, color slider etc...

A few SF street a few days ago. Now let's see some moving subject not much in this thread.

55FE f1.8~f2.2

I am surprised with results. I didn't miss much shots. It prove that we are all very adaptive with the tool. I can't do MF with A7 with speed. But AF seems workable.

Not sure what you're referring to. I did use some perspective/idistortion adjustment on this image so maybe there is some stretching going on that degraded the image there? Can you be more specific?

Michael, look forward to your PM Really nice!

Shots from yesterday at Fingal Heads, NSW. A7r and FE 55/1.8 and 35/2.8. I starting to use in Lr 5.3, Camera Neutral, and then PP from there. With Adobe Standard profile the colors do not appear to correct IMO, and the saturation and contrast is to high to begin with. The color palette with Camera Neutral is quite different from Adobe Standard.

Here are some images taken this evening with my tripod mounted A7r and my Minolta CLE MC 40mm f2 M-Rokkor lens. Images taken from the Trexler Nature Preserve Environmental Center, Schnecksville, PA. around sunset. Images processed through LR5.3.

I continue to be impressed by how accurate the manual focus is with focus peaking.

I've been following this thread and greatly admiring everyone's work. My A7R arrived just a few days ago, and I have had very little time to use it. Here are two from this morning. Both were taken with the FE 55. The first was at f11 and the second at f3.5.

For these two images, I put the camera on a tripod and controlled it from my iPad. It actually worked better than I expected, once I got used to it. It was very convenient to be able to just touch the screen where I wanted the focus point to be.

I was referring to the area right below the moon (1st picture), looks like strong CA or something. Other areas look very sharp, or I simply got distracted by the ellipse shaped moon?
