It was a very dreary day along the waterfront in Port Angeles, WA--perhaps too dreary to take these shots--but my avatar thinks they’re kin, or at least kindered spirits, so I couldn’t say no.
Couldn't find any info regarding title or artist attribution, so I just call them “treefolk”.

Congrats on your new lens, René, it looks fine in your able hands!
Lots of great pics of course, from all the usual suspects, but I can't forget Ronny's outstanding critter (even by the very elevated Olssonian standards), and I find Oldraven's "tree people" fascinating.
A fe flowers (for a change), 2 with ZM 35 f:1.4, then Otus 55.
@Manuel, I did mod my lens. Seems to be typical variable aperture now - from ~45mm to 35mm it's a 2.8. I don't notice that setting the aperture to 2.8 has much if any effect from 50mm onward. I put a round of electrical tape over the aperture ring to keep it from popping loose/apart for the mod.
As long as I'm posting Port Angeles waterfront art (and thanks for likes!) here's one for those 3D "pop" fans among you. Of course, the 3D is the doing of the mural artist rather than the lens, but still...it was hard to discern the boundary between the building's actual curb and mural curb where the dog's leg is overhanging, even while staring at it.
The detail (dog) is not a crop; I walked up and shot it full frame. Sorry for the tree branch; I couldn't maneuver around it and am too lazy to remove it in post.

Although I like my tripod, sometimes I wish it was a tad taller, so of late I've been strapping the a7r onto a DJI S1000+ Octocopter.
This is more a "full time tweak and repair" pod than a tripod, but it is fun when it works.
I don't know how to recored the altitude yet in the exif, so the first was at about 20m, the second at about 130m and the last was a 2 shot pano at about 70m.
All shots that look rather different from the ground.
Hi Steve, how are you liking the FE 35 f/2.8? I am talking myself into buying one to try it.
The more I look at your pictures, the more I think that selling the 135/2.0 was wrong decision. The only "apologizing factor" was that at those times there were no NEX-EF adapter with aperture control available.
Where was it?Saint Saturnin d'Apt?There were the times between 1997 and 2003,when I was spending every summer and spring holidays at the south sides of Le Luberon.
