Rene and Luitnant Z, two strong juxtapositions - both thought provoking in different ways.
Some impressions from a recent long weekend combined bike tour/hike along the Rhine valley. Not the strongest images, because I often had to shoot in mid-day light but together they hopefully tell a story (sorry if it is too many).
Taken with A7 and Elmar-C 90 and Contax G 45 (you should be able to tell which one is which, so I won't label them individually), the only two lenses I took on this trip for a compact setup that fit in the handle-bar bag.
BW sample of modded AA-less Sony A7R with Zeiss Distagon ZM 1.4/35 (inspired by recently read review of Leica 246 with the above lens, which also included comparison to Sony A7 II)
Three from a walk around the local lake yesterday, all with FD 100 F/2 - the birds are full of character - the first was looking for tubers under the water and plunging his head right under to pull them out with his beak. The last is part of a fantastic mechanical sculpture in someone's front yard.
