Finally I received an adapter so that I could try out the Rokkor 58/1.2. Looks almost new, usable wide open (at last for close subjects) and sharper a f/2 than I had expected. Stopped down to f/5.6 it may actually be even sharper than the C/Y 50/1.7. Weighs more than twice as much though, so I'll keep the Contax for hiking and traveling.

Thanks! That 28 Distagon looks good too, but I really like the FDn 28/2. Just received it yesterday but sometimes you know from your first few shots that a particular lens is right for you...

Cheetah at the Wildlife World Zoo in Glendale, AZ. I was warned to take a fast F2.8 tele lens due to the chain link metal fences arount the animals.. Could not get flash close enough to fence to be sucussfull and avoid glare/wipeout of image.
