Headed towards Oil Creek State Park, the birthplace of commercial oil. Old equipment like this can be found throughout: Oil Creek State Park by mkrepp, on Flickr
Anyone have ideas or critique on the waterfall shots (composition/post)? I'm struggling with creative inspiration. I love getting out and shooting waterfalls, nature and the like, but, I really need to focus on composition and post processing. RAW files available if anyone would like to take a shot.
The IQ from these A7 series looks so awesome in everyone shots. This thread does put some smiles on everyone. Keep it up and thanks for sharing your stunning images. This is a favorite thread in my daily coffee break.
We're just back from a 7-day trek in Fiordland (NZ) where we were lucky enough to have a clear night for a total lunar eclipse - first is of the moon at the time of full occlusion, and the second of the milky way with the moon 'turned down'. We were about 50 km from the nearest town, so almost zero light pollution. Both are stacks of five images (12 secs each) assembled with DeepSkyStacker.
Werner, the backlit glow of the statue on the left is really cool...looks like he is getting an idea.
Ronny, love the lighting and dark tones in the first shot on this page.
Hiepphotog, great 3D look and contrast in those shots...but I keep thinking, "you took a Lux to a mud and dirt event?!?!?!?!?" Crazy.
A few florals testing our new VM-E adapter. The extension is just enough to really make any ~50mm or shorter lens soooo much more versatile.
