I recently received my MIOPS remote trigger which is a kickstarter project. It can trigger the shutter or flash under a variety of situations . . . sound, laser and lightning. It also can simply act as a trigger remote, timelapse, hdr and more. Well, tonight, I got to try it out during our first storm of the season. Still learning how to deal with sensitivity and camera settings but I was able to capture a few images using the lightning trigger. Sure beats guessing!
Asking this since the trees furher in distance on left edge are sharp while trees closer on right edge are blurred. This either indicates tilt lens used or really bad decentering on the lens (or lens mount twisted).

Darbo, did you do some weird processing or does FE 35mm F1.4 ZA come with tilt function

No weird processing. I guess I got a crappy lens...

Sorry for you bad luck. Lots of FE55 have "fixed-tilt-function" as well. People have been able to exchange their lenses in most cases. I did not bother as mine is tilted only little and FE55 is not my choice for landscapes in any situation.
That doesn't look right David! Like Samuli noticed: the focus plane looks tilted. It also seems to mess up the bokeh. My copy doesn't behave like that.
This example of mine shows a similar scene wide open:
Nothing in focus in the background and less harsh bokeh.
Thank you Joshua
IMO the FE 35/1.4 is a much better lens on A7 series, and I would guess it would stand on its own compared to the 35 Lux FLE. I really think the engineers designed a great lens. Obviously both the FE 35/1.4 and 35 Lux FLE have their place, but with the A7 series the FE 35/1.4 will be a hard lens to match.
