Lovely shots Bob, Helena, thebratts, Charles. That OM50 1.2 looks nice and sharp Gregg.
Nice shots from the zm35 Jako. It looks very good! I'm kinda on the fence but I think I'll stick with the R35 cron for now, it's got a unique painterly character especially at close distances which I like. Some shots with the DC 105/2 as well:

Btw. the flare (a grid of green and purple spots and sometimes a big green patch) you get around the sun, is that caused by sensor reflections too?
Great pics - I'm supriced about 18mm, I assumed it looks less "Zeissy". And Yes the flare you mention is caused by sensor reflection.

If so, are those also reduced with the newer A7 models?
Based on Bob's photos A7 II seems to behave more like A7r (=better), but I have no firsthand experience. If you look Bob's first photo on this post you can see "coma from hell" behind the starburst, but it's more controlled than in A7 (version 1) in similar conditions.
Thanks for the nice comments and likes on the ski/mountain photos on the previous page!
Thank you also Samuli, Gregg and others who offered input on the sensor reflections. I knew that A7II was better at the ones you get next to artificial lights, but wasn't sure if it also applies to the ones you get behind the sun. If it really is better maybe I'll upgrade in a few months.
Gregg, really like your whimsical photos of plants and other stuff.
