I will be contributing as soon as she arrives with:
58/2 Helios
50/1.7 Minolta
70-200G (just for kicks)
50/1.4 Asahi
135/3.5 Asahi
Both Touits (just to try cropped shooting)
Canon 24-105L (w/ and w/o a lens turbo haha--why not?)
I took some photos today on my way to work, not much to account for but here is one that showed the potential of the A7r sensor to me. With the Zeiss ZM 50 Planar

Joakim, you got an A7R too? I wonder how many of the guys from the Leica thread will get one Very nice colors btw.
Yes but for me this is intended mainly as a landscape camera that replaces my Canon camera, I'll still be faithfull to Leica
On-axis and in the plane of focus, there is a beautiful glow. Not harsh or jittery like many modern lenses when unsharp, but just soft and nice, still with pretty good resolution.
I think I'll get rid of my Nikkor-S 55/1.2 now, because they are about the same sharpness-wise, but the Oly gives much smoother bokeh. Though, the glass is really yellowish, so colors don't come out quite as good as with the Nikkor.

Nice to see the cameras turning up in this country. There's some hefty rings in the sky (#1/#2/#3), is it the JPG engine doing this (SOOC)?
Did you manage to get one today? I felt like shit but just had to get off the tram on my way home and shoot some snaps, as you can see.
See you tomorrow! I'm bringing the OM 55/1.2 and 28/3.5 if you want to try.
Edit:

Hey Makten! Nice to see more from you. I realize #1 is ISO6400 but there's some almost Canon like banding going on in the sky there. Is it pushed?
The banding sure is there, but can't be seen at "normal" WB. The scene was lit by very yellowish light, so altering WB pushed the blues very much. I don't think it looks bad at all considering this.
I assume this is RAW->DNG->JPG, right?
See you tomorrow :-)
Yes, and I'm really conservative when it comes to NR, so it could have been made smoother with more PP.

No, but I managed to reserve one at Norr Mälarstrand Fotogrejs :-)
Right. I am the lookout for a great 28 as the Contax G 28 seem mediocre as of now. I obviously need more adapters. But think I am going to give the CY heavy guns a try first before totally ruining the christmas wallet, I have kids

Do you mean the harsh gradients of the sky causing "rings" from the vignetting? I can only see it on the first shot, but I don't have the best monitor atm.
It's the JPG engine of A7R. I shot RAW+JPG, and that is the SOOC JPG. I checked my original, in case Flickr was distorting it, but no, it looks like that SOOC. The RAW of course has no hint of bad gradients.
Congratulations to those have received the A7's, and great shots here!
Thank you for the comments and all the likes
Another shot from last night with A7r and FE 35/2.8. I am having a issue with the EVF brightness being low while outside, and on dusk. The setting is on AUTO, but I had to set it on maximum manually to fully see the details. Inside and under cover it is fine and bright. The normal LV/LCD is fine. There are only two settings, and ideally outside is best set to bright daylight.
Using the FE 35/2.8, this is most definitely the preferred route to use the legacy lenses.
