My respect Michiel !
I know this is not a political forum, but i have to make this statement here as everywhere:
Last night I received a Zeiss Planar 50/2 ZM, put it in my A7II and fired my standard test shot (off my balcony). Looking forward to exploring this lens . . .
Guys, I must say, thank for your Je suis Charlie. Of course Je suis Charlie as well, and your support is beyond heartwarming. I didn't want to bring this up on a photo forum, but, since you have, I must show my face, unlike "them" who act with ski masks. Yesterday, it couldn't be business as usual, so I took my camera and went to Notre Dame, a symbol of what these crazies can't stand. And, whereas the weather had been forecast as wet and gloomy, the sun broke out, like a promise of hope. We are hit, and hurt, but the mighty bells will not have tolled for nothing. We are not forsaken. And today our forces stormed the two hostage scenes, freed the innocent, and the crazies are in Hell, where there is everlasting torment. And, as Woddy Allen wrote, eternity lasts a very long time, especially towards the end.
Notre Dame, yesterday, FE 35
Philippe - Godspeed to you and your countrymen. We must never let them think they have won and we must all stand together no matter where in the world we are!

+1
I know this is not a political forum but this is so silly, cruel and outrageous that I could not ignore it.
And then to think one of the brothers was a hip hopper. Well never liked hip hop much anyway.
Photocameras are not only beautifull instruments to registrate flowers, landscapes and etcetera fine subjects but also to photograph the reality forced upon us whatever that may be. We can see it in the papers every day.
Philippe, I am glad it is done for now. And luckely very well done, although the news is still not complete. I hope Paris can somehow go on and recover from this.
And thanks Werner! I enjoyed the wondeful stuff you made around Lugano!
Bob, I thought you were waiting for a Loxia 50 , and now I see you got a ZM 50 Planar. Tired of waiting?
Just to annoy you, another picture from yesterday, with the Loxia
The Loxia 35/2 is the one I wanted all along as I like the FL. The ZM 50/2 just seemed to good to pass up. I've never owned a planar and thought it was time to give it a whirl.
I don't know other than I got the ZM for a lot less than the Loxia 50 would be . . . then again, I spent a lot more on the Loxia 35 than the ZM biogon would be! It's this kind of irrational behavior that is symptomatic of GAS!
