A few images from Bali - The sun on the first image is real, BTW. The first 3 images were captured using a 24-70mm f/4 lens that "earned" a bad on-line reputation. In my book, however, it is a great lens

5 x 2 Panorama - A7 II with FE16-35/4 @ 16mm. This chapel is designed with mosaic tile which are roughly a half inch square. Amazing piece of work.

That lens also is super sharp! over the whole lens at least at f8. how does it perform wide open at f4?

No way I could hold 1 image for 2 seconds let alone 10! The lens is even sharp at f/4 but there is some drop off in the corners. Not bad though! I'm really liking this lens and I almost exclusively shoot primes.

GOOD I was hoping the ibis wasn't THAT good lol. Great shots man!
I really like the results everyone is getting from that lens. But for my intended uses with astrophotography I think i'm going to wait and see what the 28mm brings in the first part of 2015.
But i'll be saving my dough till then! so possibly pick up a 16-35 if that doesn't work out!
