You make excellent use of this lens.
I received my copy from the UK today.
Considering the price I paid (GBP 29 including hood) I am in some kind of shock (positively speaking) how good this lens is.
Thanks! I'm sure you're going to enjoy it, it's a great lens.
Did just that one day shooting (the Jewish Cemetery and the Dom) with the new lens. Not intended to do a lens test more a real life situation.
Here is an outdoor shot at 18mm and lots of DOF, focus point, if i remember right, somewhere in the middle more to the cathedral (go to Flikr for 100% view).
Again: No distortion and CA correction. The lens has very little CA's at least stopped down.
Bob....its a fantastic lens. I tried several times to sell mine after I bought it from Millsart, cause I still had my Contax 35-70/3.4. No one jumped, so I sold the Contax instead...I miss the Contax, but the MD is no slouch!! And it's smaller, too! Great lens...looking forward to seeing your images when you get it!

I even bought two adapters one for the A7r and another for the Fuji XT-1.
It all arrives next week but I will be out of town till next Friday . . .
Great pictures as usual in this thread, and the umbrella shot by triton3k is a highlight for me. I did a series on umbrella's some time ago - they are great subjects! Downside is you get wet when you photograph.......
Meanwhile, I saw the same pretty sky over Amsterdam as Michiel. This is the Ringdijk close to where I live. Take with the Zeiss ZK 25/2.8.
I have been trying out the Minolta AF 100/2. I really, really love this lens. Best of all, its tiny. 55mm filter thread, and just a touch longer than the 55/1.8
My son when we went out walking. This is his "I got caught" face. Like this mostly for the separation and bokeh.
Like the bokeh and the sharpness. Had to PP out some CA in the light reflected in the eye.
