The last ornament shot shows superb clarity and contrast with no color cast. Great shot. I also like the first elf and straw man photos for the same reason.
Todd

i waited 3 months for this lens and so far i am more than pleased with its performance

'Chinese Laundry'
Now, over the course of 12 days in China I captured dozens of images number of rather pleasantly looking women but reviewing my shots shows that my judgment was kinda off in this instance. Not sure, but feeling in doubt usually solves the case.
Very cool farmer I met at the Hilo Farmer's Market. The background was boring, so I like the blowout. Not everyone's taste, but I like it.

Minolta 17-35 D SOOC - loved the color on this on Mauna Kea The Observatory SOOC
In-camera Pano - more useful then I thought. The Observatory
And then, received my new to me VM-E adapter today! Here are a couple taken with it and my CV Nokton 50 1.5 ASPH from inside the bathroom(I had to try it out!!!!)
Gregg
Thank's again for your positive comments!
Gregg: I own that VM-E adaptor as well, and like it, its very good build and it work to infinity. I had an other Helicoid before which was way cheaper but loose and no infinity focus....
I often photograph my dog when testing out new lenses. Unfortunately she seems a much more reluctant model than Ronny’s dog and will usually close her eyes, turn away or look down at the ground, but despite this she is still much more cooperative than my wife! This is my new C/Y Planar 1.4/50 wide open plus a couple of early morning shots, not wide open.
Werner, nice to see the 16-35 posts. It would be great to see more outdoor shots, especially some with detailed near/far subject matter in focus at the edges of the frame. 18-24mm focal lengths wouldn't hurt either
