Kevin, indeed Shangai streets felt very safe, even when walking alone side streets and alleys in early mornings. All I got were accasional looks of surprise and greatings.
Philber, thanks! Most of my shots with Biogon were at f/8 - f/11 so corners had minimum smearing. On shots in f/2.8-4 range I used CornerFix to remove side colouration, where extreme corners smearing was actually not that unwelcome. Note that Biogon ZM 2/35 is very sharp across frame so it all worked well when (nearly) WO and stopped down.
Note the potteries; more images to come but I can tell you that I buried iPhone/iPad shooting & chimping tourists under each of them, just to get a clean shot
Helena...WOW! Very awesome set!! they are all great...
Werner...Very nice Nocti shot...One can dream...
Sjredo...Excellent B&W with the FE 55...great lens!
reprazent1...couldn't agree more with you about the MD 35-70/3.5 macro...Best bang/buck ever!! My images below are same lens!!
Jack, Jack, Jack.....once again, I get stuck posting behind you! It's just plain not fair!! OH, BTW, excellent, incredible images from China!! Awesome...
jfreak...@gregg, the B&W short in last series is like the classic old picture you see in museums. I love B&W. This very well done. I wonder if it's just LR or some other things to it. btw, I am not using LR now and rather using capture one 8 and like it more than LR.
Thank you very much for the kind words! I do most of my editing in LR, with occasional exports to PS CC, Nik, orPerfect Photo suite...
My humble submissions with my Minolta MD 35-70/3.5 macro...
Gregg

Leaving work, @f11
Stopped in traffic after leaving work and snapped this and the next, both @5.6
Bob: These are just plain outstanding. The clarity and the lightning is extremely impressive. You would get more than one like from me, if the system allowed for that .
Jack: Those shots are really impressive. I gotta say, you make me thinking about that damn Lux again. May I ask whether you are happy with the a7r Lux combo? Since you're making such great use of that combo, it may be a stupid question, but I was wondering about your experience with widely reported issues such as color cast and mushy corners?
Werner: That is one beautiful, dreamy background that really does the Noctilux justice.
Helena: These pictures really capture the wildness and roughness of Island extremely well. Commendable job.
Here is one recent picture from Yokohama with the 55 1.8.

Thank you Chris.
Summilux-M 50 ASPH will perform better on Leica M than on A7R. This, from checking internet based comparisons, applies to stopped down infinity shots.
When shooting at f/1.4 to f/2.8 the differences may be minimal is any. Now, Lux 50 IMO screams to be shot WO otherwise lenses like Loxia, Sony or Zeiss ZM 50 would be better options for infinity stopped down captures (I believe Lux 50 has some field curvature even on Leica M)
As much as I like A7R/Lux 50 ASPH combo and can't complain about soft corners and colour cast (actually I never noticed any colour casting with Lux) I repeatedly recommend Voigtlander Nokton 50/1.5 ASPH LM (latest version)
Nokton performs very, very close to Lux when shot at f/1.5 - 2.8 so if you're looking for a lens with a character for close-mid distance shooting at wide apertures, Nokton would be my first choice.
I got brand new Lux-50 after purchasing C/V Nokton 50 and it was more of a curiosity purchase. Would I buy Lux again having Nokton already? Nope. I actually find Nokton to be better built than Lux. Summilux 50 glass and optical design may be on much higher level, but I can't stand its pullout hood (it simply feels cheap comparing to other Leica lenses I own), finish that is hard to keep clean (Zeiss' ZM silver finish is much better, IMO)
Lastly, two screws holding aperture ring got loose just after few weeks causing the ring to move. Not very impressive considering the name and price point.
My 5-6 months old silver Lux 50 may be for sale if $3300 USD fits anyone's price point.
Lux and Nokton, both wide open with minimal and identical PP
