a couple with my new Lomography Petzval 85mm f/2.2 Art Lens... on the Sony A7S:
all images in this and the next post shot at f/2.2 (wide open for this lens)
obviously, still getting to know this lends and it certainly is meant to be used for every single shot every single day, but i like it
looking into the sun, I surely missed the focus on this one but I do like the BOKEH effect this lens gives and that's why I show you this image. I'm not sure this lens does a great job with backlit subjects... we shall see:
another with the star aperture plate, just for fun:
Here are some images that I took last evening in Magic Hour and at sunset at the Trexler Nature Preserve, Schnecksville, PA. Images taken in wind with my tripod mounted Leica R 280mm f4 Apo Telyt lens set to f8 andd my A7r camera; images processed in LR5.6.
Tomorrow I will receive a Zuiko 28/3.5 and I am still waiting for my M-mount adaptor to arrive so that I can start using the Leica 4/135 Tele-Elmar that I already received on the mail. Also waiting for a Leica 2/40 Summicron-C which should arrive during the following week.
