Some thing a bit different images from the La Nocturne des Coteaux de la Citadelle and annual night festival in Liege, Belgium.
Mainly shot with the kit lens and the A7, I really need a better lens for this type of shooting, probably a modern prime (though OSS would be nice), trying to use my old Minolta 58mm F1.4 resulted in a lot of flare.

Thanks Gary...it's been hot as hell here in Coastal CA, and we've been dying this week...had to get the dog out this morning, and she got hot and tired very quick, and needed water!!

Yesterday, I organized a small trip to the International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque with a group of my students. We went there at 4 am and got back to town around 10:30 pm. A full day of fun. I'm still in the process of processing the pictures. But here is a few shots with my old flame (the lens, not the girls )
