View from our lodge in the country side of Fujian, China... There is a tulou across the river from our lodge. Tulous are circular multi-story dwellings with an open air atrium in the center. A typical tulou can house 3 to 4 generations of up to multiple familes, most of the same last name. Some date back to 700 years back.
While walking to a metro station after going to the top of the Eiffel Tower, we passed by a small, dark little park. I took what I thought was a throwaway shot because the light was so bad. I saw the ISO climb to 16,000 and thought, I'll just take one shot. It surprisingly turned out better than I expected. Viltrox 14mm.
Great shot of a Yellow-throated Warbler! I saw one of these only in Costa Rica haha!
Were getting some shorebird migrants up here in San Angelo too, I had a great time birding in the RGV, wish I lived in San Antonio so it would be a closer shot!

Thanks, I'm just under two hours east of San Antonio, south of I10. Hoping to see a bunch of migration in my own yard this season. Wife and I will celebrate our 50th anniversary in the RGV on S. Padre Island. I'll likely point the camera at a bird or two while down there, plus other things.
