Gregg
Hi Gregg, for me its plenty sharp stepped down it does have a few weaknesses like all older lenses with flare and fringing which can be corrected if needed. Here's a few simple examples at f8 or f11. I like the way it looks and handles and has a nice focus throw, the bokeh is a little unusual but also quite nice. My copy is a Minolta mount.

Looks better than on the NEX5N/7.What was the aperture? How about smearing/vignetting?
It's bad. I can live with vignetting but smearing is unbearable. One of the best analog lenses ever, no good on A7 (worse on A7r). I wonder about the A7S though 12MP is a bit too crude for me.
I just arrived at Cape Cod . . . my first visit. I stayed close to where I'm staying and plan to go exploring tomorrow. Seems like lots to do. In the meantime, here's a few from today.
